Introducing our Newest Project: Kaizen Galveston

We are thrilled to be announcing the beginning of a new project in Galveston, TX! Led by an incredible team of medical students at the University of Texas Medical Branch, the project aims to provide meals to underprivileged individuals across the island. Research by Feeding America showed that there were over 45,000 individuals who were food insecure in Galveston County in 2019. This team hopes to provide a sustainable solution to food insecurity while serving each low-income family meals with healthy and nutritious ingredients. Check out their page to learn more about their initiative!

Art in the Square 2022 Beneficiary Selection

The Southlake Women’s Club (SWC) is an organization that has been serving the Southlake community for years and has always been supportive of efforts to improve the lives of those in need. In February of 2022, Famcore Foundation and Kaizen Dallas were selected as one of SWC’s 2022 beneficiaries! The team was recognized at an event later that month at the city town hall and were also featured at SWC’s major event of the year, Art in the Square. Art in the Square is an incredible gathering of artists, visionaries, and creatives from all around the country, taking their time to display and share some of their most valued pieces with the Southlake community. The SWC works all year long in coordination with the City of Southlake to make this event bigger and better each and every year. We are blessed to be standing next to and learning from people and organizations that have made a true impact on this world! We would like to thank Mrs. Josie Sparks for her incredibly compassionate and selfless guidance throughout our journey!

United We Run 2022

What an event! On April 16, our Dallas Team had the privilege of having a booth at one of Southlake Foundation’s hallmark events, United We Run. A huge thank you to Kush Rao and the entire Southlake Foundation team for giving us this opportunity to share our message with our beautiful and diverse community! We had such a blast celebrating the Hindu festival of Holi with you all!

Celebrate Southlake 2022

Our Dallas chapter had the privilege of being a part of the Celebrate Southlake event hosted by the City of Southlake this afternoon. A huge thank you to Mayor John Huffman, Kush Rao of Southlake Foundation, and the entire team of individuals that put this incredible event together. Our core belief is that food insecurity is an issue best tackled as a community. At Celebrate Southlake, we were given an opportunity to speak with and share our experiences with members of communities in several neighboring areas. We hope to spread the message and raise awareness regarding our cause at future events like this and hope you join the effort to impact our brothers and sisters in need.
